Care Navigator Training
Description:
Our Care Navigator training is designed to help mental health care navigators and agency support staff deepen their understanding of trauma and PTSD, screening tools, and evidence-based treatments for PTSD. Participants will gain skills to effectively identify individuals within their organizations or systems who may benefit from PTSD interventions, including Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Prolonged Exposure (PE) Therapy, and Written Exposure Therapy (WET).
We encourage all mental health agency support staff to register, including case managers, administrative staff, and non-clinical support teams.
Training Components
- A live, virtual 1-hour training
- Access to PTSD assessment tools
- For Clinicians – 1 continuing education credit

Continuing Education
Attendees are eligible to receive 1 Continuing Education (CE) Credit for participating in the workshop. The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio is approved by the American Psychological Association (APA) to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio maintains responsibility for this program and its content. APA continuing education credits have historically been recognized by most professional state licensing boards. Please check with your licensing board for verification.
