WET Learning Community

Written Exposure Therapy

Learning Community

Training Overview

Written Exposure Therapy (WET) is a 5-session, trauma-focused, evidence-based treatment for PTSD. WET is delivered with no formal between-session practice, and has been shown to be non-inferior to frontline PTSD treatments while demonstrating low dropout rates. Your foundational workshop will present the theory and rationale for WET, an overview of WET’s empirical support, and step-by-step instructions in the delivery of WET. Throughout the workshop, strategies for conceptualizing and dealing with co-morbidity, managing avoidance, and keeping patients optimally engaged will be provided.

Foundational Workshop: Begin your training with a live, virtual workshop focused on essential WET skills and delivery of the protocol.

Weekly Consultation: Receive follow-up consultation with a WET expert as you work with real-world clients and start using your new skills.

Provider Portal: Enjoy complimentary 1-year access to our Provider Portal, featuring advanced training webinars, therapy demonstrations, and implementation resources to enhance your learning journey.

Skills Checkpoints: Increase your mastery of PTSD assessment and treatment with Skills Labs—facilitated, experiential practice sessions. Additionally, Knowledge Checkpoints are opportunities to reflect on your training and check your understanding of WET.
