Culturally Responsive Trauma-Focused Therapy

Implementation of Culturally Responsive, Trauma-Focused, Evidence-Based Psychotherapies Workshop

Our Advanced Skills workshop: “Implementation of Culturally Responsive, Trauma-Focused, Evidence-Based Psychotherapies” is intended to support culturally responsive assessment and treatment approaches, in the context of evidence-based treatments for PTSD

Clinicians often face challenges when addressing cultural factors in PTSD treatment. Without a clear understanding of these nuances, discussions about identity and culture can become difficult or uncomfortable. Clients are shaped by various aspects of their identities—race, ethnicity, gender identity, socioeconomic status, and more. By understanding these influences, you can better appreciate how cultural factors contribute to their experiences and leverage their strengths in the therapeutic process.

Join us for a workshop designed to empower providers with the knowledge and skills to navigate these challenges sensitively and effectively. You’ll learn the importance of culturally responsive PTSD treatment and receive practical guidelines for assessing and addressing cultural strengths and stressors that affect your clients.
