Description:
Crisis Response Planning is a strategy designed to assist an individual who might be at risk for suicide by offering alternative self-selected actions and activities they can use in times of crisis. Peers, friends, family and clinical providers can support the planning process and provide solid options which they can utilize during different phases of a suicidal crisis.
This workshop is designed to enhance individuals’ knowledge about crisis response planning (CRP) for managing acute suicide risk, and to increase their ability to administer this intervention confidently and competently with at-risk individuals.

- A live, virtual 5-hour CRP workshop
- Access to our online portal, with resources for CRP implementation
- For Clinicians – 4.5 continuing education credits

Continuing Education
Attendees are eligible to receive 4.5 Continuing Education (CE) Credits for participating in the workshop. The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio is approved by the American Psychological Association (APA) to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio maintains responsibility for this program and its content. APA continuing education credits have historically been recognized by most professional state licensing boards. Please check with your licensing board for verification.
