Our Grantmaking Process
As Face the Fight (FTF) enters its fifth grantmaking cycle, we are conducting our annual landscape and ecosystem analysis, identifying lessons learned from previously funded projects, and reviewing the impact data from supported initiatives to date. The insights gathered from these activities, along with our philanthropic strategic plan will help us identify service gaps that may need to be addressed in the next round of grantmaking.
The FTF team has determined that an invitation-only approach is the best way forward, reflecting the maturity of the grant portfolio and the significant impacts it has achieved. Based on identified gaps, we will reach out to organizations that may be well-positioned to address these needs and explore potential collaborations.
We appreciate the efforts of all FTF coalition members and organizations involved, and there will continue to be opportunities to engage with FTF outside of grant support. Here are some foundational Coalition engagement opportunities to consider:
- Attend quarterly Coalition meetings
- Seek opportunities to collaborate with other Coalition members
- Share impacts from your program with Coalition
- Participate in Webinars/Interactive Series/Townhalls
- Leverage a variety of no cost skills training courses at the FTF Training and Resource Center.
